September 8, 2006 - American Bank Center/SMG announces it will not be extending its license agreement with the Corpus Christi Hammerheads for the 2007 season based on our business assessment. It is against SMG policy to divulge business details therefore, we will only note the reason is due to license agreement violations on the part of the Corpus Christi Hammerheads.
Our interest is to protect our client and the City of Corpus Christi. American Bank Center/SMG is committed to bringing high-quality entertainment to the City of Corpus Christi and our mission is to be the premier event center for our city.
