On Saturday night, February 18, Boxing stars Chris “The Nightmare” Arreola, Paul “The Punisher” Williams and Tavoris “Thunder” Cloud will bring their aggressive, knockout power and crowd-pleasing all-out action style to the great fans and city of Corpus Christi. Tavoris “Thunder” Cloud (23-0, 19 KOs), of Tallahassee, Fla., will be making the fourth defense of the IBF light heavyweight title he won via 12-round unanimous decision over former world champion Clinton Woods in August 2009. The hard-hitting, 29-year-old then successfully defended his title against Glen Johnson, Fulgencio Zuniga and Yusaf Mack.

Challenging him for the IBF belt is the very competent 33-year-old Spaniard from Madrid, Gabriel Campillo (28-3-1, 8 KOs). A former WBA light heavyweight world champion, Campillo handed current world champion Beibut Shumenov the only loss of his career – on his home soil in Kazakhstan, no less. Now, in his second trip to America, he presents a serious challenge to Cloud.

Kevin Hart has burst onto the scene as one of the most versatile comedy actors in film and television. In September 2011 Hart released “Laugh At My Pain” the feature film version of his comedy tour (under the same name) the movie grossed over $7Million and was 2011 most successful film that was released in less than 300 theaters. The LAMP Tour made Hart 2011’s number one comedian on Ticketmaster and in February 2011 Hart sold out the Nokia Theater two nights in a row to break a record previously set by Eddie Murphy.

Hart’s DVD Seriously...Funny is one of the fastest selling DVDs in recent years and has gone triple Platinum. His comedy central special of the same name is the highest rated comedy special of 2010.

In 2012 Hart will be seen starring in two movies. On March 9, 2011 Screen Gem will release Think Like A Man , the a comedy is based on Steve Harvey's bestselling 2009 book Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man. In April 2012 Universal will release the Nick Stoller comedy Five Year Engagement for producer Judd Apatow.

Hart was last seen in Meet the Fockers Sequel aka Little Fockers, and Death at a Funeral, alongside Chris Rock, Tracy Morgan and Martin Lawrence. He also co-starred alongside Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in Fool’s Gold, as well as opposite Steve Carell in The 40 Year Old Virgin. Hart’s film credits include: Soul Plane opposite Tom Arnold, Method Man and Snoop Dogg, Not Easily Broken, Extreme Movie, Drillbit Taylor, Epic Movie, The Last Stand, Scary Movie 4, and In the Mix, Meet Dave and Superhero Movie.

Hart debuted on amateur night at a Philadelphia comedy club and was instantly hooked. However, it was his first appearance at the Montreal Just for Laughs Comedy Festival that led to work in such feature films as Paper Soldiers, Scary Movie 3, and Along Came Polly opposite Ben Stiller and Jennifer Aniston. Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and their brand of "Rock Theater,” are preparing to light up the road for a three month Spring Tour, traveling to over 60 markets across the United States.

The band will be performing ”Beethoven’s Last Night” for one final tour before the band begins to focus on its new album and new live concert spectacular. “This is music that people can share with friends who aren’t necessarily Christians,” says Third Day bassist, Tai Anderson, “but when you talk about light and darkness, this room is adequately lit. If you light a candle, it doesn’t add anything to the atmosphere, but if you go where it is dark and you light a candle, then it’s beautiful and you can appreciate the light. I feel like that’s what our role is a little bit more. Our candle is lit. We’re trying to bring hope.”

We have artists from coast to coast, and across the ocean. With the packed house last year we decided to to take the convention to the next level. This year we will be in the American Bank Center. We are pulling out all the stops this year with 42,000 sq. Ft. Of fun for your whole family. This year we are looking to have at least 80 booths filled with artists from all over and related tattoo industry vendors. Artists Chris Vargas, Zack Ross, Timmy B, Billy Jack, Clint Cummings, Hoa Dang of Tattoo Saigon, Big Ern, Brandon Borge, and more. Local Shop Sponsor Phat Tats, Suspension Shows by Aztlan Arts also the Half Pint Brawlers. Car show and Bike show, Tattoo contests, Miss Tattoos By The Bay Contest, Pole Dance Competition, and Artist seminars, also Aztlan Arts will be putting on a seminar work shop on suspension for those interested (see Registration for Seminars). Artists and Vendors don’t delay getting your booth reserved, as it is on a first come basis. You truly want a weekend pass for this event with all that is going on the full weekend.
