Event Details: American Bank Center is proud to announce a special Father’s Day weekend performance with one of the greatest artists in country music, George Jones! Jones will be performing at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium on June 16th at 8pm . Tickets are $31.00 - $77.00. This Father’s Day weekend is a chance to treat the legendary man in your life to a legendary show.

George Jones has had more chart topping singles than any other artist and has collected a number of awards throughout his career. Jones won his first Grammy in 1981 for “He Stopped Loving Her Today” and the second in 1999 for “Choices.” In 1992, Jones was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and ten years later, he was presented with the 2002 National Medal of Arts Honor from President George W. Bush. The National Medal of Arts is the nation’s highest honor for artistic excellence.

In 2004, Jones celebrated his 50th anniversary as a recording artist with the release of a 3-CD set entitled “George Jones 50 Years of Hits.” Some of those hits include “He Stopped Loving Her Today, “She Thinks I Still Care,” “Why, Baby, Why,” and “White Lightening.”
