PERFECT 100 FOR SMG AMERICAN BANK CENTER & CENTERPLATE
ON FOOD INSPECTION REPORT

SMG American Bank Center Convention Center’s kitchen recently received a perfect 100 on a Retail Food Establishment Inspection Report conducted by The Texas Department of State Health Services. Centerplate is the food services provider for SMG American Bank Center, providing catering services for the convention center and special events as well as managing the concession stands throughout the facility.

Back in July, American Bank Center hosted 13,000 students for the Texas FFA Association convention over a span of four days. With catering provided for breakfast and lunch and concession stands open throughout the day that adds up to a significant amount of food being served. Centerplate has years of experience with groups of this size and there is a reason why these groups continue to utilize their services year after year.

"Centerplate is deeply committed to delivering the highest quality food and beverage experience while meeting the food safety guidelines provided by the state and expected from our guests,” said Centerplate General Manager Mark Montgomery. “We are very proud of our recent perfect score and will continue to work closely with members of our team to ensure continued positive results."

The full inspection report can be viewed on the City of Corpus Christi’s website on their Food Services Inspections page, http://www.cctexas.com/RestaurantInspections/inspections_detail.cfm?id=13893.
