January 30, 2007 - The Corpus Christi Sharks are hoping to find a diamond in the rough and add some local flavor to their roster as they prepare for their inaugural season which kicks off April 7th, 2007 at the American Bank Center Arena in downtown Corpus Christi. The Sharks, the newest member of af2, announced today that they will be hosting two (2) open tryouts in the month of February. The first tryout will take place in San Antonio, TX on Saturday, February 3rd at Comalander Stadium. The second and final open tryout will take place here in Corpus Christi on Saturday, February 24th at Moody high school. Both tryouts are open to individuals at least 18 years of age with a valid ID. There is a $40 processing fee.

Tryout Requirements:
Testing will include the 40/20 yd dash, 20 yd short shuttle, agility drills, one on one evaluation. Participants will receive a Combine Shirt to be worn through the event. All Participants must be at least 18 years old and sign a Waiver with valid ID.
