February 8, 2007 - Once again Corpus Christi will be the host for the 3rd Annual New Springtime of Catholic Evangelization Lenten Family Conference, “Living a G Life in an X World”. Presented by Fullness of Truth™, a non-profit Catholic Evangelization Ministry; this life changing conference opens at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, March 16, 2007 for registration and exhibits, with Mass being celebrated at 1:30pm by the Most Reverend Bishop Edmond Carmody. Presentations, speakers, live adoration and special programs running through Sunday, March 18th, 2007, at 7 p.m. It will be held at the American Bank Center, located at 1901 N. Shoreline Blvd., in Corpus Christi, Texas. A truly inspirational lineup of speakers, as seen on EWTN (Eternal Word Television Network), includes: Fr. Mitch Pacwa and Rob Evans, “The Donut Man”. Also joining them at this great event will be Tony Melendez, Tim Staples, Jesse Romero, Martha Fernandez, Most Reverend Bishop Daniel Flores, and many others. Child/Formation care is available for 1 through 7 years old.
Youth will be inspired with a program and concerts featuring Radix, a ministry that challenges and encourages youth to embrace the Catholic faith in a clear and enthusiastic manner, using a variety of means such as drama, music, comedy and history. Kelly Pease, the David Moore Band and Tony Melendez are featured at a Concert on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with many other performers, speakers and musicians.
Spanish language presentations are featured on Saturday and Sunday, March 17th and 18th and include the Hernandez Family, Bishop Daniel Flores, Fr. Eduardo Ortega, Tony Melendez, Jesse Romero and many more.
“I have invited and promoted the Fullness of Truth… because I have seen how it equips the Catholics in my diocese to live as effective witnesses to the Gospel in their homes, communities, and workplaces”, states Bishop Edmond Carmody as he extends an invitation to all. He also states that he hopes through this conference many souls outside the Church may find their way back home.
