June 7, 2007 - American Bank Center’s General Manager, Marc Solis and the media were invited to City Hall Wednesday afternoon for a glimpse of the Key to the City that will soon be presented to a legendary star.
Mayor Henry Garrett is planning to present George Jones with a key to the City of Corpus Christi before his scheduled performance on June 16th at the American Bank Center Selena Auditorium. George Jones will join an elite group of people that have received a Key to the City, including the Blue Man Group. “We are excited to see the Mayor and the community is recognizing the extraordinary talent American Bank Center is bringing to the city. As Corpus Christi’s premier event center, we strive to bring the best entertainment to the Coastal Bend,” says American Bank Center General Manager, Marc Solis.
