Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce Presents:
Soaring to New Heights Women’s Conference
April 8-10 conference to focus on inspiring and encouraging women in the Coastal Bend
(Corpus Christi, TX – February 26, 2016) - The Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce will be holding a three day conference called Soaring to New Heights Women’s Conference from April 8-10 at the American Bank Center. This three day conference will focus on empowering, inspiring and encouraging all women to soar to new heights. The conference will also feature local vendors and exhibitors from all over the Coastal Bend, and beyond; vendor space is still available.
“The 2016 Soaring To New Heights Women's Conference is in celebration of the 10th Anniversary of our annual signature event-'S.O.S.' (Sisters On a Saturday), stated Sylvia Tryon Oliver, of the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce. This is a Business and Professional Development Seminar- Empowering Women to Excel in Mind, Body and Spirit. This year's theme, Sisters-I. S.E.E. U. (inspiring, soaring, encouraging, empowering, and uniting) was chosen to reflect on gender-specific issues-such as equal pay for women, human/sex trafficking, domestic violence, etc. All women (sisters), regardless of race or circumstance, should understand that when one struggles, we all struggle. The Soaring to New Heights Women’s Conference will also focus on business and professional development, with breakout sessions starting on Friday, April 8 with topics such as effective leadership, social media 101, and Entrepreneurship/Business Start-Ups, facilitated by several local professionals.
This three day conference will also feature an acclaimed management services firm to facilitate a much anticipated class called the Trust Factor which will be sure to boost morale within organizations. The conference will close out on Sunday, April 10, with a Community Prayer and Praise Breakfast-uniting to inspire, to soar, to encourage and to empower others along the way.”
For more information regarding registration, vendor spots, or the Trust Factor class for office staff, please contact Sylvia Tryon Oliver with the Corpus Christi Black Chamber of Commerce at 361-877-3634.
