(Corpus Christi, TX June 23, 2017) – SMG American Bank Center, Wedding Fair Events, along with The Beach 96.5 FM presents The SAVOR contest that will take place at the 2017 Wedding Fair, Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 12:00 pm- 5:00 pm. Admission to the Wedding Fair is just $12.00.

Celebrating 25 years in Corpus Christi in 2017, Maureen Caballero has attracted thousands of brides to The Wedding Fair, South Texas’ largest bridal event – and this year is no exception. With over 100 exhibitor booths providing everything from fashion shows and food & cake sampling, to DJs, photographers, and more, this event is the only place where brides and grooms can find everything they need for their special day under one roof. Couples can also register for thousands of dollars in door prizes, including one of three grand prize honeymoon accommodation packages that will be given away at the show!
New for this event is a contest that hopes to garner even more attention. In partnership with the SMG American Bank Center and The Beach 96.5 FM, The SAVOR our Heroes contest will give couples the chance to compete for a spectacular wedding package to help get their Wedding Day plans off to a great start! Beginning today, people can nominate a well-deserving couple who are active or retired military or first responders to participate. Ten couples will be chosen as the final contestants and will compete against each other the day of the show. The winning couple will receive a wedding package valued at over $10,000.00 for 50 people!

To register a deserving couple for the Contest, go towww.americanbankcenter.com/lastcouplestanding and fill out the form nominating a couple that has recently become engaged and are deserving of the wedding of their dreams. On Monday, July 10, the 5 couples that will compete will be announced. Those couples will attend the Wedding Fair and the winning couple will be announced after a series of contests narrow down the couples to the one winning couple. The winning couple must use the package within 365 calendar days.
